The home of the king alfred statue and arthurs round table is losing its historical image. Winchesters high street has declined over recent years losing its historical feel.
Hampshire County Council and Winchester City Council have orgonised a proposal of improvement for 2009 to 2010.
The main areas being improved are footpaths, roads, signs and seating. A meeting has been orgonised for May to discuss plans with locals to see what other areas may need improving to bring back its historical value.
